High Tech Dentistry with a Gentle Touch
At Suwanee Family Dentistry, our goal is deliver exceptional preventive and restorative dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment. We get to know our patients as people and care for them like family. We create patients who value long term oral health and show their appreciation by following our recommendations and referring friends and family. We achieve clinical excellence with a commitment to continuing education and the use of innovative technology. Our enthusiastic team strives to do the best we can do, all the time.
Dr. Heil and Dr. Starnes take the time to get to know you and what you would like to accomplish. Not only do we look at your teeth, we check your entire mouth including the gums, tongue, lips, and cheeks for signs of trouble. All of our x-rays use low radiation digital technology and we have an intra-oral digital camera. We use Diagnodent laser cavity detection and the ViziLite oral cancer detection system. With these tools, we can show you what we see and discuss with you the reasons why a particular treatment is best. All of this information allows us to customize our services for your unique needs.
How we are "going green"
We are concerned about the environment and want to do our best to be good stewards of our environmental resources. We have identified he following ways we can make a difference.
1. Because we use digital xrays, we have no film processing chemicals in our office. These are harsh chemicals that commonly end up in the sewer system, and we are proud to say that we don't use them
2. Fluorescent and LED lighting is resposible for 99% of the lighting in our office, including our dental composite curing lights.
3. We recycle office paper, plastic, glass, batteries, and we have recently started to recycle cardboard. We use paper towels made from recycled paper and other recycled materials when possible.
4. Our old computer equipment is recycled using a local e-waste company.
