First Visit

We are always excited to meet new patients! Your first visit begins with a comprehensive oral evaluation or an emergency visit. Our team will develop a treatment plan to help you achieve and maintain a healthy smile. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about treatment options during your visit. It is our goal to make sure we answer all your questions.

When you come in for your initial visit, please bring your dental insurance card and be sure to fill out the paperwork online to streamline the check-in process. If you cannot fill out the forms online, please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your appointment. Please bring a list of any medications you are taking. If you need antibiotics before dental work, please take them as prescribed. If you are not sure if you need antibiotics, please contact your doctor before your visit.

If you are nervous or anxious about dental care, please tell us! There are many ways we can help you be more comfortable if you share your anxiety with us. We hear this from patients almost every day, so please don't be embarrassed or think we will judge you.

Whether you need a cleaning, a filling, or even a brand-new smile, we are here to help. Great dental care doesn't just make for a fantastic smile; it also helps promote overall health and wellness. If you have a special occasion coming up or are interested in brightening your smile, ask us about whitening or other cosmetic dental options. We want you to have the confidence to share your smile with the world!

Pediatric Age 1 First Visit

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentists recommends that children receive their first dental check-up by 1. These first visits can help your child get comfortable in a dental setting and allow us to observe any dental changes from an early age. Please do not tell your child much about the first visit; let us handle the explanations in child-friendly terms. We will explain everything during the visit and show them the tools we will use to help keep their smile healthy.

We encourage parents to accompany their children during their visit to provide an opportunity to see us working with your child and allow us to discuss dental findings and treatment needs directly with you. At your child's first visit, we will review your child's medical/dental health history with you, perform a thorough examination, and evaluate your child's teeth and gums. Digital radiographs (x-rays) are taken only if necessary. If no treatment is needed, the teeth will be cleaned, and a fluoride treatment may be provided.

We look forward to meeting you and your child for your first appointment!
